The PPG for Fressingfield and Stradbroke medical centres is a group of patients who are registered with the practice and help represent the interests of the wider group of practice patients, acting as a link with the Practice Manager and Practice Partner. They meet at 8 to10 week intervals, helping to build a stronger relationship between the practice and patients. They get actively involved with assisting at flu clinics and helping when the practice require additional personnel such as Healthwatch surveys. In addition they represent patients to influence the wider healthcare provision in our area. The PPG will challenge the practice management team should there be reasonable issues bought to their attention from patients and are always keen to hear from patients over their experiences, both good and bad, that can be taken forward on their behalf, particularly if there is a common theme to these concerns. There can be no guarantee that a solution can be found however they can be raised in a formal way with the practice. If you are interested in joining the PPG then go to https://www.fressingfield-medical-practice.co.uk/contact1.aspx for more information.
