Our local Suffolk County Councillor, Peter Gould, sadly died on Friday 19th July. He had been unwell for some considerable time and had stepped back from a number of council activities, with Cllr Andrew Reid standing in for him. Peter, an Eye resident, had previously been an Eye Town Councillor and was also previously our local Mid Suffolk District Councillor. I'm sure he will be greatly missed and that we all send his wife, family and his many friends, our condolences and best wishes at this sad time.
