Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was bitten by a dog in Eye. The incident occurred at approximately 6.15am yesterday morning, Monday 25 March, at Eye Airfield Industrial Estate. The victim was out for a run when she was approached by three dogs that were off their leads and out of control, one of which bit her on the bottom causing an injury that required antibiotics. The dogs are described as two German Shepherds and a black Labrador, with one of the German Shepherds biting the victim. The owner of the dogs was a woman who is described as white, aged in her 70s, approximately 5ft 4in tall, and with blonde hair. Anyone who believes they may know this woman, or who has any information regarding this incident, is asked to contact the Crime Coordination Centre, quoting reference: 16657/24.
