Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision near Little Stonham. Officers were called to the A140 just before 4pm on Friday 22 December following reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a black Chrysler C and a silver Volkswagen Golf. Suffolk Fire and Rescue and the ambulance service were also in attendance to the scene. The driver of the Golf, a man aged in his 60s, sustained injuries. Two passengers, a woman aged in her 40s and a woman aged in her 50s, also sustained injuries. They were assessed by paramedics at the scene where their injuries were described as not life-threatening or life changing. Since attending hospital, their injuries have been confirmed as serious. The driver of the Chrysler and two passengers sustained minor injuries. The road was closed to allow for recovery of the vehicles involved and reopened by 7.10pm. Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
