Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision near Oakley. Officers were called shortly after 8:30pm on Thursday 30 March to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, near Low Road, between Oakley and Hoxne. The collision involved two cars, a blue Ford Fiesta Zetec and a black Audi A6. The East of England ambulance service and fire crew were also in attendance to the incident. Both drivers, aged in their 30s, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment where they remain. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing at this time. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the driving manner of the vehicles before the collision, or who may have any dashcam footage.
