The PCC’s Scarecrow Walk was a great success with lots of visitors and lots of positive feedback. It raised more than £200 for St Andrews. The joint winners for "guess who everyone was" were: Alexa Spivey, Hazel Abbott and Lexi Coombes. The best scarecrows (voted for by visitors) were: 1st BFG - Avril and Rev. Richard Court; 2nd Hungry Caterpillar - Kerry Dearing and Alison Brice; 3rd Mr Fredrickson - Katie and Drew Abbott and family. Sammy Coleman won the cake - guessing 2.3kg (which was closest to the actual weight of 2.7kg). More pictures to come. Pictured are the BFG with villager Neville Butcher.
