Dear Redlingfield Resident,
Below is a letter being sent to Horham and Athelington residents regarding the closure of the Horham shop and post office. I am also attaching the questionnaire that is mentioned.
There will be an open meeting at the Horham Community Centre on Tuesday 20th August at 7.30pm to discuss this, how people could be affected and to consider possible solutions.
As many people in Redlingfield use the shop and post office we are all invited to come along and participate and/or fill in the questionnaire and drop it off to the Phone Box by the Old School in Horham.
If you want to raise an issue or have a question answered but can’t attend the meeting – you are welcome to let me know what you want raised and I will do that on your behalf or you can directly contact any of the members of Horham & Athelington Parish Council (details below) or use the attached questionnaire.

FROM HORHAM AND ATHELINGTON PARISH COUNCIL
Dear Resident,
As you may be aware, the Shop at Horham will be closing in the near future as David and Irene will be retiring after many years. We're sure this will have a significant impact on many people in our villages as it will leave this without local access to services. Therefore, we will be holding a meeting on the 20th AUGUST 2024 AT 7.30pm in the Horham Community Centre where you can bring up any concerns or issues you may have and explore any possible solutions. If you are unable to attend the meeting and wish to express your thoughts or opinions, there is a small questionnaire with this letter, which you can complete and your answers will be taken into consideration. Any replies will be treated as confidential and only held for the duration of the consultation. Any information provided will not be used or shared without your permission. Completed questionnaires can be dropped off in the Phone Box (Suggestion Box) by the Old School. You can also contact any of the Parish Council if you wish to and they are available for call or text on the numbers listed below:-
Andy Black 07790761303: Paul Hambling or Tom Wright 07562671239: Steve Clark 07925 192610.
