This week we all received some really positive news that many businesses and venues across England can REOPEN from the 4th July, if they are COVID-19 secure. This includes:
- Pubs, cafes and restaurants
- Hairdressers and barbers
- Camping and caravan sites
- Hotels and B&Bs
- Cinemas, museums and galleries
- Libraries and community centres
- Places of worship
- Outdoor playgrounds and gyms
- Funfairs, theme parks and amusement arcades.
Guidance is available on the GOV website on the steps businesses need to take to ensure they can reopen safety: https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus If you are a business and need advice, please contact us via 0808 223 1133. As advised above, from 4 July, many businesses and venues will be allowed to reopen and will be expected to follow COVID-19 Secure guidelines. However, unfortunately, the following businesses will need to remain CLOSED:
- nail bars, beauty salons and tanning salons
- massage, tattoo and piercing parlours
- indoor fitness and dance studios, and indoor gyms and sports venues/facilities
- nightclubs
- casinos
- bowling alleys and indoor skating rinks
- indoor play areas including soft-play
- spas
- swimming pools and water parks
- exhibition or conference centres - where they are to be used for exhibitions or conferences, other than for those who work for that venue.
